History of the Units:
- The two (2) model EM 610B open cycle, single shaft, Gas Turbine Sets
- Manufactured by GEC Gas Turbines Limited and commissioned in 1981.
- Originally installed in 1980 and operated site until 1991, the Gas Turbine Sets were
relocated, re-commissioned at site and renamed as CG3 & CG4 in 1992
- They were available for service through until 1998 when they became surplus to
generation requirements.
- They are currently under preservation.
Less than 1000 total hours running since new
Inspection of the plant,
and serious offers can be submitted until the 4th of April 2006.
